With the help of government grants and you we have been able to finish a number of projects at Gita Nagari. We installed frost-free hydrants; new fencing, high tension wires, animal walk-ways and have new paddocks. If you were at this year's Ratha Yatra you will have noticed everything that has been upgraded to date.
We would like to thank our donors (listed below) who have been instrumental in getting phase 1 of the project off the ground and finished.
We are now moving to Phase 2. The grant is $19,000 and it is once again a matching grant. this means, we have to raise the additional funding. This money is designated for the composting facility by the barn.
Please give generously - the cows will thank you for it!

Explanation of Grant:
Frost Free Hydrant: hydrants or faucets for watering the cows, as well as the pipelines that lead to them.
Fencing: high tension wires, animal walk ways, paddocks.
The pastures will be divided into three paddocks that are connected by a concrete walkway so that the animals can be moved from paddock to paddock without damaging the pasture area. This is being done so that our cows always have fresh grass at the ready.
Composting Facility: road surface material and access road, and a pumping plant
A Concrete Pad: to make it easier for the cows' holding station in front of the barn to be kept clean. This will also help the cows so that they do not have to stand in mud and muck.
I don't think I need to tell you how exited everyone is at the farm that we will have some monies available to make much needed repairs and to make our dear cows more comfortable.
Downspouts on barns: to keep weather erosion to a minimum.
